Originally a doctor from Chennai who worked three shifts to make ends meet, Jagadesh has transformed his medical background into a thriving buyers agency focused on interstate investments in Queensland and Western Australia.
“Since I’ve quit my job, I’ve signed up five clients with one more coming tomorrow. My target was three in a month, and I’ve signed up three in June and close to three in July now.”
Jagadesh migrated to Australia in 2005 to pursue a Master of Health Administration, eventually becoming a nurse manager. After 10 years in Australia, he began exploring property investment in 2016. His journey into the buyers agent space began in April 2023 when he watched a BAI video during his train commute.
After completing the BAI program and obtaining his license, Jagadesh initially balanced his healthcare career with his new business before deciding to commit full-time.
“I don’t want to say this thing doesn’t work. I want to say this thing works and I have actually made it work. So I wanted to quit my job and take this seriously.”
His client-centreed approach has already earned him repeat business, with one client returning for a third property purchase. Looking ahead, Jagadesh aims to increase from three to five clients per month and eventually reach $100,000 in monthly revenue.
“You’ve got to go to the uncomfortable space to achieve things. If I can do it, anybody can do it. I don’t have a sales or real estate background. You will learn as long as you let yourself be open, challenge yourself, and implement what you learn.”
