“I just purely focus on investment clients and want to see them hit the same sort of goals that I’ve done and hit that financial freedom mark. It’s like Spider-Man – great power, great responsibility.”
After years at institutions including Goldman Sachs and Australian Super, Steve found himself at a crossroads after achieving financial freedom through his own property investments. Despite being offered a senior data architect position, he craved greater purpose.
“I’ve hit that financial freedom mark. What am I going to do next? I thought a buyer’s agency sounds good, almost like an investment property advisor.”
The transition required shifting from regular paychecks to entrepreneurship. Steve launched mid-2022, balancing it with his corporate role before going all-in around May-June 2023. His approach focuses on simplifying property investment for overwhelmed clients.
“BAI gave me the framework and confidence to build this business. Without it, I wouldn’t have had the clarity to grow this fast.”
Steve’s analytical skills help identify contrarian investment opportunities, while his agent relationships secure off-market deals. In six months, he’s expanded to a team of four and is on track to potentially hit $1 million in revenue in his first year. Steve is aiming for 72 clients within his first year and, eventually an eight-figure business, focusing on the compounding effect of consistent daily actions.
“To get to eight figures, it’s not gonna happen overnight. It’s the day-to-day things, the tough things. If you keep kicking goals for clients, that’ll come.”
