“I get huge fulfillment out of helping clients achieve really good results. Everyone’s got a different goal – some may be coming through a really hard time and this property is literally their next chapter.”
Srama’s journey began at age 22 when he purchased his first investment property while playing professional rugby. After retiring from sport, he transitioned directly into real estate sales with McGrath Estate Agents before a brief stint in sports coaching.
What Srama identified during his time in real estate sales was a passion for the buying side of property. Reading Robert Kiyosaki’s “Cashflow Quadrant” inspired him to start his own buyer’s agency.
“I hit a borrowing capacity ceiling around my fourth or fifth property. That allowed me to understand the game of finance better.”
The Srama Group now specialises in three core areas of Southeast Queensland – the northern, central and southern Gold Coast, plus the Tweed Coast region. Srama has built a reputation for understanding both the technical aspects of property and the emotional aspects of helping clients achieve their goals.
“I think it’s 10% skill and 90% belief and confidence. If someone truly believes and is committed to that cause, you can learn all the skills.”
Srama is now focused on growing his team and developing future leaders within his business. He takes particular pride in watching team members who started with little experience develop into successful buyer’s agents.
“What I’m learning more and more is that when you have clarity, that’s number one. He who makes the best decisions wins. We’ve all got the same amount of hours in a day, but if we can make better decisions within those hours, that could lead to better results.”
