“I wanted to leave school at the age of 15 to save up for my first house. Being able to help others purchase property is basically what we’ve been doing for family and friends for years. To think that was actually a job was really an eye-opener.”
Emma purchased her first property at age 20 and has been buying, selling and holding property ever since. Her analytical background helps her navigate problems for clients who often miss opportunities due to busy schedules. In one case, she saved a client over $100,000 on an emotionally driven purchase.
“I remember going through an open house with 30 pairs of shoes out the front. Buyers get frustrated because they go to the first open house and they’re told it’s already under contract. Chances are it’s probably been purchased pre-market by a buyers agent.”
Emma has built strong relationships with local agents, giving her clients access to properties before they hit the market. Rather than pursuing rapid growth, she has focused on steady, sustainable expansion in her specific niche area.
“BAI has been super helpful with giving tips, strategies and support along the way.”
Emma and Craig now enjoy the flexibility of working near the beach, with the freedom to structure their days around their lifestyle. Their future plans involve continuing to focus exclusively on the Gold Coast and Northern NSW regions, leveraging their deep local expertise.
“That feeling of actually being able to help people with something that you’ve created is really valuable. It’s so much more gratifying when you’re working towards something that you’ve created.”
