“What you do in the first five years will determine how comfortable you are in the next 10. We squeeze as much juice out of the orange within the first few years – get proof of concept, build confidence.”
Andrew’s journey began with property investments before completing his Master of Commerce. He identified a significant gap in financial planning education – the absence of residential property investment strategies. This led him to establish Plenitude Wealth in 2016, a mortgage broking business in 2018.
Recognising traditional financial planning was limited to superannuation, insurance and managed funds, Andrew built a model incorporating property as a crucial wealth-building asset. His approach focuses on investment properties only, maintaining a data-driven strategy.
“We look at it strategically – what does point B look like? The typical aim is to replace gross household income ASAP. It’s about net asset growth coupled with income-producing assets.”
Andrew’s business treats clients as CEOs while his team serves as CFOs, providing strategies based on the client’s ambition level. Looking ahead, he plans to expand to include accounting and legal services, creating a complete professional ecosystem.
“How ambitious you are determines what actions you need to take. Our clients want above-average results – to get there in 15 years instead of 30 so they can enjoy themselves more.”
