From Corporate Leader to running a Buyer’s Agency: Sud Setia’s Journey

The founder and Head of Research of futurx, Sud has not only built a thriving buyers agency but has also inspired countless others to take control of their financial futures through strategic property investments. His journey, from a corporate career managing over $40 million dollar programs to becoming a Investor focused buyers agent, helping busy professions secure properties across Australia, is a testament to the power of determination, vision, and a mindset shift.

A Vision Fueled by Purpose

Sud Setia’s path to becoming a buyers agent was driven by a deep desire to create a life of purpose and fulfillment. Having built a successful $7.2 million property portfolio and over a decade of experience in property investing, Sud recognised the transformative potential of wealth creation through property. However, it wasn’t until 2024 that he decided to turn his passion into a profession.

“After building our property portfolio, I realised that I wanted to help others achieve the same success,” says Sud. “My goal is to assist busy professionals in building passive income through property investments. It’s about helping people create financial freedom while minimizing the stress that often comes with property buying.”

The Leap from Corporate Success

Before launching futurx, Sud enjoyed a successful career as a Program Manager at NAB, where he managed strategic programs worth over $40 million. While his corporate career offered growth, stability and achievements, Sud yearned for something more meaningful.

“I wanted to leverage my skills and experience to make a real difference in people’s lives,” he explains. “The Buyers Agent Institute provided the perfect platform to channel my expertise into a new and fulfilling career.”

Launching futurx

After joining the Buyers Agent Institute in March 2024, Sud obtained his real estate license by June and launched futurx buyer’s agency in July. 

Within it’s first three months, futurx has helped 15 families secure amazing properties below market value.

With a strong start and a rapidly growing client base, Sud has his sights set on scaling futurx while maintaining the personalised service that defines his brand.
