“Every day I get out of bed, I don’t feel like I’ve got a job. I actually sometimes feel guilty that what I do is classified as a job. I feel like every day I’m working in a hobby more than anything else.”
Anthony’s journey began in real estate as a 19-year-old sales assistant, where he first dreamed of owning his own business. Despite spending two decades in corporate roles, he never felt fully connected to his work. The turning point came when he “couldn’t pretend to love it anymore” and left the corporate world without a plan.
After a year of self-reflection, Anthony decided to return to real estate as a buyer’s agent. He strategically completed a two-year “apprenticeship” with established firm Maker Advisory before launching his own brand.
“I wanted to do that apprenticeship for a couple of years and learn from a team of people that had been in the industry for a long time.”
Anthony’s business model focuses exclusively on the Northern Beaches, allowing him to provide specialised service including detailed off-market property tracking. Within six weeks of launching, he’s already experiencing strong referral growth.
“If a client signs up, I can pull out a spreadsheet that I update every week and say, ‘We’ve got 52 properties that are off market at the moment.'”
Currently focused on establishing strong foundations for his business, Anthony aims to be recognised as the leading buyer’s agent in the Northern Beaches within five years.
“I’m a believer in being a specialist in a marketplace as opposed to being a Sydney-wide generalist.”
